If you want to add a discount on a product for a certain period of time, go to Settings, Marketing Tools. Under the menu Newsletter,  there is Add Discount button, press it. Then enter the product or service, for which you will make discount, enter discount rate, then set period (from what date to what the discount will be valid). If you've followed all the steps, save.
